FIXED RECIPIENT TAGS

{FIRST_NAME} First name of recipient Bob

{LAST_NAME} Last name of recipient Jones

{CONTACT_FULL_NAME} Full name of recipient Bob Jones

{EMAIL} Email of recipient [email protected]

{CELLPHONE} Cell phone of recipient 123456789

{CONTACT_BUSINESS} Company of recipient Jones & Co.

{CONTACT_CITY} City of recipient Town

{CONTACT_STATE} State of recipient State / Province

VARIABLE RECIPIENT TAGS
Can be anything – honorific, spouse, contract name, date, business type, etc.

{CONTACT_LABEL1} Custom Label 1 of recipient Mr. (honorific)

{CONTACT_LABEL2} Custom Label 2 of recipient Betty (spouse)

{CONTACT_LABEL3} Custom Label 3 of recipient December

{CONTACT_LABEL4} Custom Label 4 of recipient 5% (Interest rate).

Example:
Dear {CONTACT_LABEL1} {LAST_NAME}, I hope you and {CONTACT_LABEL2} are doing well. I see our contract expires in {CONTACT_LABEL3} and you are currently paying {CONTACT_LABEL4}.

Would read as Dear Mr. Jones, I hope you and Betty are doing well. I see our contract expires in December and you are currently paying 5%.

NOTE: You can enter anything you like in these labels, but you must remember to be consistent within a given list so if you do a campaign to contacts in that list, the message will make sense. If you have another list with other data in the custom labels, it could be quite confusing, or if you’ve put other data in a particular contact within a list. So you must be consistent. Also, if the label has no data in it, there will be a blank space in the message if you use the label. For example, if you don’t have someone’s spouse in Label2, it would read as Dear Mr. Jones, I hope you and are doing well.

It pays to double-check your list!
