Adding Custom Domains to Your LINKEM Account

You can create your own custom domains and add them to your LINKEM account. Make sure you've upgraded your account to enable this feature.

1. At dashboard > click on Branded Domains.

If you don't see this menu option, you need to upgrade your account. Go to the top menu and click on "Upgrade."

2. Click on Add Domain

3. Type whatever subdomain you want to use. You can't use your main domain (abc.com) you need to create a subdomain like m.abc.com or whatever. That's just the way the internet works. Make sure you add "https://" before the domain name.

4. Add your domain root.

5. Add your 404 "page not found" address

6. Now you're going to create an "A" record for this domain at wherever you manage your DNS. Copy the IP address "167.99.121.120"

7. Go to your domain host and click on DNS Management. In this example, GoDaddy. Click on "Add" to add a record

9. In this case there is a pull-down menu. Select the type of record:

10. Click on "A"

11. In the name field, add your subdomain. In this example, m.photosrm.com

12. Paste "167.99.121.120" into the Value field

13. Click on Add record

16. Back at LINKEM, click on Links

17. Choose a shortlink > click on the 3 dots to Edit

18. In the Edit your link section > click on Domain…

20. In the pull-down menu, you'll see your new domain.
